About Us

Giving Back to Where We Live

Joe Gates Construction, Inc. has been building and remodeling homes in Kitsap County and surrounding areas since 1989. Joe and Judy are active members of the Kitsap County Home Builders Association and Judy served as Chairperson of the Kitsap County Homebuilders "Remodelers Council" for 2010 and is a currently a builder board member for 2013. In 2000 Judy served as president of NAHB Builder 20 Club "The Artisans".

Joe and Judy have been active volunteers in many community projects, including the Home Builders Christmas In April program, organizing supplies, labor, and volunteer work crews for a one day "fix-up" of an elderly low income person's home throughout Kitsap County. Joe and Judy are involved with "Project Family Playhouse Showcase", building small scale luxurious playhouses to benefit child abuse prevention.

They have also been involved with Habitat for Humanity, the international organization that builds simple, decent, affordable housing for impoverished families. Both Joe and Judy currently serve on the board of "My Jewels of Hope" a local non-profit to benefit cancer research, and Judy currently serves on the Board of Directors for North Kitsap Fishline.
