When building or remodeling a home, some clients only want to select finish materials—countertops, tile, floor finishes. But for some, well, they want to be more involved. If you’re that person, then JG Project Management is what you’re looking for.

At Joe Gates Construction, Inc., our JG Project Management service puts you in the driver’s seat. You’re hands on—but never wield a hammer. You’ll have the convenience and expertise of a skilled professional general contractor, with the flexibility for you to take on some of the management tasks. For most clients, it means you save money and time.

Your project could be a home remodel or a custom home; here’s how it works:

First, we help you plan. That means a full site review, research, an initial ballpark budget—all of which we review with you before finalizing. We like to say we build the house on paper first—which means a smoother build or remodel.

During the construction phase, we manage the day-to-day activities on site, but you have input and approvals. You approve bids, based on the planned budget; we place orders for materials and schedule the work. We provide a list of selections you’ll need, with due dates and a list of suppliers to visit to make those choices. You place orders with vendors; we arrange delivery to ensure smooth installations and that all elements of the build are in a logical and productive order. We will meet with you weekly and text you daily with updates.

Every construction project is different, which means every home is unique. And so is the process. With JG Project Management, you—our client—can expect to be more involved, but also to save money.
